Stopping the negine, RSV governor ,Bosch yellowjackets:
"Engines not equipped with a special shutoff mechanism are stopped by moving the governor control lever to the Stop(Shutoff) position. In the process, the lug of the swiveling lever presses against the guide lever.. This then swivels to the right and shifts the fulcrum lever, and with it the Control rack, to the Stop (Shutoff) position. As the governor springs cease to exert pressure against the sliding bolt, the flyweights are free to swing outward." The LP rep kit (check valves+ o-rings) has a number #0015861207 (Bosch 2 447 010 044). Inside of the LP, behind the roller assembly (just knock the pin #10 out to remove it) resides the plunger rod. It is sealed by a small o-ring #16 (remove the rod, use a pick to remove the old o-ring fron the groove inside the LP). Bosch order number: 2 440 210 002 =MB A 010 997 86 48 =010 997 86 48 . Green nowadays. The primer pump is widely available, get Bosch or MB (which is Bosch). The only difference with your LP may be the banjo thingy that accepts the hand pump. ![]() Overhaul is pretty easy, just observe the proper orientation of the valves and spacer rings of the inlet and outlet. Also check out the Electronic parts cat ,find the exact subsection of your vehicle, the parts # are still relevant and if not one could easily find the new part # or the cross reference on the internet. https://mb-teilekatalog.info/index.php?lang=E&mode=BM&class=6 I'd address one issue at a time, start with the most probable/easy to do. And make sure all fuel lines are in good condition. |

Regarding the Part #s: -0015861207 sold as pair or single? -Bosch 2 447 010 044 comes back as the primer, not LP check valves -MB A 010 997 86 48, keeps crossing to different #s, see attached pic Regarding the governor/shutoff, if it doesn't shut down with the linkage completely disconnected is there any external adjustments? I've been checking out the E parts link, takes some getting used to and Unimog U52/U600(421.125) with OM616.911 not the easiest to find, relatively low production numbers too. I have no idea if it sold new in the states or imported, all the dash gauges are in English though.

Nope. Must shut off by the control lever only, your pump does not have the aux shut off lever.
Bosch "2 447 010 044" is the rep kit. Some vendor associated it wrongly with the hand pump. When you put the combination as "this exact word or phrase" in google things get better : https://www.google.com/search?q=%222+447+010+044%22&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiwt5uI3rr7AhVSmokEHXYTC_gQ_AUoAnoECAIQBA&biw=1097&bih=554&dpr=1.75 consists of 2 disc valves and 2 o-rings . ............. The little o-ring (get a green one). Your Bosch dealer should be able to get it. ebay has it too, free shipping. https://www.google.com/search?q=bosch+2440210002&ei=oxB5Y5nmDPyv0PEPppyGuAU&ved=0ahUKEwjZw_nw4Lr7AhX8FzQIHSaOAVcQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=bosch+2440210002&gs_lcp=Cgxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAQAzIHCAAQHhCiBDIHCAAQHhCiBDIFCAAQogQ6CggAEB4QogQQsAM6CAgAEKIEELADSgQIQRgBS gQIRhgAUOoJWI0UYMwVaAFwAHgAgAGbBogB4g6SAQswLjIuMi4xLjYtMZgBAKABAcgBA8ABAQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp ............. |

Ordered a new filter head assembly that was supposed to be a direct replacement. Turns out not drilled/tapped for aux ports for recirculation loop and flow is opposite direction. Luckily just happened to notice the directional arrow as it's so small.
Did away with the recirculation circuit and hoses and that immediately helped with it holding prime. Plumbed up new filter head and instantly remembered why I considered a late model diesel filter assembly.... The rusty control rod does appear to be out of adjustment causing the shutoff issue. Hopefully the ball/sockets will come of without breaking or I'll have to tilt the cab to try and adjust in the truck. These are packed tight, even the electric fan was a pain to install. Plan on making a parts order in the future with LP parts, primer, DV springs. Thanks again for the help.
