114 Flasher Types
Does anyone know if the 114's later style flashers (large red rectangular push buttons) are electrically the same as the older push-pull-knob type. I have acquired a later upper console with the large square hole on the left for my 250C but to be able to use it, I need to use the newer flasher.
TIA

For anyone who cares, they are very different. The later one is only a switch and has a separate relay. Serious rewiring to change.

My '72 250 and 250C both use the square flasher switch. My early, factory 114-115 manual doesn't even show a hazard flasher.
Must be in the later edition or perhaps a USA Supplement. Happy Motoring, Mark

My January 1970 Road & Track road test of a 250C shows the flasher in the console, so it was there even in the early cars. The square ones were used from cars 07245 onward - mine is 00724.
