280se 4.5l exhaust system?

Hello,

I have a 1972 280se 4.5l mb. It needs a new exhaust system and I want to know how many pipes are runing from the engine block?

two or four pipes?

There are 2 front pipes.

Single pipe on left, dual to single on the right side.

Adsit, Timevalve, or WorldPac have direct replacements (OEM are available).

Don't get them fabricated, you will have fits.
