The motherload of hard-to-find parts...

At least I would call it the motherload . I went to my Mercedes mechanic for (3) plastic light clips that go in the dash/console unit... I got an extra just in case. He has more left. But he also has so much stuff in his garage my jaw was ready to drop. Engines... about 5 of them that I saw... at least 1 speedo (160MPH), etc, etc. If you need a part for an older Benz, I'd be glad to give you his phone number for contact info!

Possibility...

Hey guys, I this has nothing to do with your guy, but I found a site for "A-Auto Mercedes Parts" on the net. It's located in Geyserville, CA and they apparently offer used and some new parts for most 1952-1990 Benz models. I dunno how good this is, and I'd check it out for you guys but I live up here in Canada, so it's a little far for me to go. Just something to check out. If it turns out to be nothing or a bad place, then oh well. But if it turns out to be good, then there's no problem.

(sorry, I don't know how to make it into a link. I can do it for websites, but I wasn't sure if it'd work here)
