Do W116 lower seat covers fit the W108 seats?

There is a W116 with decent blue leather seat covers in my local U-Pull-it. My seats are shot, can I use the lower cushion covers in the W108? They look pretty similar, but I don't want to go to all the work required if they won't fit.

I'm certain the upper cushion is different, but would also consider simply taking the seats complete, too, if they fit on the floor (both are manual seats, by the way.

Thanks!

Peter

hmmmm...

Peter,
This sounds like a tempting swap.
I just pulled a perfect passenger seat from a 108, to use the springs and pad.
Why not try this first. The springs are the same for both sides, and the pax seat is usually not worn.
