Anyone familiar with Finback Wagons?
Looking for a Finback wagon, anyone ever have one? Were they imported to the US?

Since they were made in the 60's, before alot of emission and safety red-tape, you may find one in the US. Keep your eyes on the ads at Hemmings Motor News and The Star.
What the Fintail wagons were are conversions from special built bodies. The versions made by a company called IMA in Belgium were actually marketed by Mercedes-Benz, and were called "Universal". No good idea if they were sold in the US market, I would tend to doubt it. I believe they are quite rare in any case. No production figures are available to me for the special order bodies. In looking over the availablity of the "Universal" wagons, I found these possiblities: 200 Universal 230 Universal 230S Universal 190Dc Universal 200D Universal Gilly

PS on previous post
the 190Dc Universal was produced in 1965 only all the other models I listed were made from 1966 to 1968 Gilly
