Whistling Wing Window

I got a seal gone bad on the drivers side wing window. Fastlane doesn't seem to stock them. Are they available anywhere else? I haven't broken out the silicone yet, but if theres no alternative...

I have heard these guys are pretty good on the seals ... no direct experience, though.

My wings were whistling something terrible! But they just needed adjustment- easy! Are your seals bad? ...or just need adjusting?

O.K. I'll bite, how do you adjust the wing? The window stands out a bit at the rear and I took it to be the seal shrinking.

Whew, you are in for an easy fix!!!

Just take off the door panel to access the vent window, and you will see the adjuster.
Mine was like yours, stood out a little when closed.

I adjusted it so it shut with a gentle nudge and it became flush again.

Absolutely transformed the experience of driving on the freeway.

Just drove back from my Mom's through the snow with a freezing draft blowing across my hands for two hours. The heater would not be out of place in an English sports car, which is to say, tepid. I will definitely get going with this repair at the first opportunity.

Car ought not to be that cold, you have heater problems? I often drive with my quarter vent open (even in -20C) to draft out the cigarette smoke. can't say as the cold is a problem though, just open up the dashboard vents.

The heater fan stops when its slid into the high position and must be jiggled to induce a faint breeze on the feet. However having gone through the "taking out the heater box in the winter" last year, the thrill of the experience may induce me to park it til spring. I am so grateful to all of those on this board who helped me through it but it was not pleasant.
