Ok, can anyone help me identify what model this is? All I know definitively is that it is a 58; I found a metal plate inside the hood that gave me a chassis number but I believe that must be the serial number because it is a seven digit number.

Ponton. Longer hood makes it a 220a, 220Sa or 220SEa. Carbs or fuel injection?

Its a 219, built from '56 to '59.
Basically the 190 body with a 220 front end, powered by a detuned 220 6 cylinder. Happy Motoring, Mark
