Kingpins on my 64 coupe

Hey ya'll,
My 64 coupe is in need of a kingpin refurbishment - I got the rebuild kits, but my shop manual doesn't say much about R&R the things. Does anybody have some more detailed instructions on the removal, installation of the new kingpin and bushings? How about general experience/observations/wisdom? Thanks ahead of time for any support!

Welcome to the site. I'm sure you will find a lot of help here.
Kingpin work may be something I'll have to do in the future. How much do those kits cost and what do you get in them?

Did you try doing a search on kingpins? That'll probably give some go leads to start with.

Josh

Kingpin kits

FYI, I got the kingpin kits @ EEC in Ca. (1-800-259-1125) The price was very good (1/3 the price listed in the MB old car catalog for the coupe). They are the OEM parts as well. EEC seems to have the best prices (as well as a lot of the stuff needed for these cars), and the everything showed up when they said it would. Does any body have the shop manual Job for removeal and installation on these things?

Thanks,
Jack
