Anyone know anything about my car?

Hey everyone, just wanted to know if any of you could help me with some info about my car (250SE 1966). From owning it for 3 months i've really only learned a few things, such as:

- it has MFI
- It has a 2.5L engine
- it's an Inline 6
- it has a W108 body

And a few other things.

What I really want to know is just a few little things like:

- How big is the accual Fuletank?
- What type of engine it accually has?(Like, the model name)

And anything eles you guys can come up with.

Thanks

Acording to my repair book, your tank is 82 L and your engine type should me an M130. This can be verified by looking at the engine number stamped at the rear of the block on the injection pump side.

My book 'Mercedes Benz Production Models 1946-1975' lists the 2496cc. engine in the 250SE as an M129 engine. The M130 is the 2778cc. as fitted to the 280SE and other 280 models.

Mark, you're right. My W108 spare parts table has the 2.5 and 2.8 gas engines and the V-8's as well. I should have studied them much more carefully.
