fuel injection prob
lowmerc
if you find out what the problem is, post a reply because my 280e does something similiar. i was told in the past that it was related to the cold start valve, i think there is a sensor on the block or something?? mine runs fine once it has warmed up and the idle has been adjusted correctly. martin |

At the moment, when it starts, it starts lovely. But whe it doesn't it just won't even fire for a second. Just cranks and cranks. I was on my way home a minute ago, but it's a no go. Going to leave it for about a half hour before I try again as I think it's flooded.

Flooded or dead ignition when it won't start?
Bad ignition will look like running too rich when the plugs don't fire.... Peter

The fuel line is supposed to be pressureized after the engine is turned off. Look at the fuel pressure regulator or the check valve in the fuel line.
