Engine Swap?
Can I get a M103 engine from a w124 into a w123 280E? There is one on ebay now that looks tempting. I also wanted to know if any one has heard of an aftermarket 24 valve head for the M110?

You can probably do the 103 swap but you will need the complete engine management system (lambda, engine computer, fuel pump, wiring harness, etc.) A bare engine won't do much good. You will also need to change the trans and do a lot of work on linkage and exhaust, driveshaft, AC etc.
I have never heard of a 24 valve head for the 110.

Engine Swap?
Chuck,
Thanks for your response. I'll conclude that I have enough other necessary projects to do before I think seriously about such a swap. Alex
