Has anyone ever used Vinylkote to dye MB Tex seats?

At one time scrounged blue armrest and blue center console pad for otherwise black MB-Tex interior.

Prior to installation bought some vinyl spray paint to change armrest and pad from blue to black - the stuff worked great!!

Prepped the surface with rubbing alcohol and applied several thin coats of vinyl paint.

This was more than 10 yrs ago, have forgotten the product name.
