Talking W108 Roll Call and possible SoCal Meet

I have been thinking about this a long time and I have to know, how many 108's do we have on this board? I want to see some beautiful 108's and even the not so beautiful ones like mine. Post up a pic of your 108 and if anyone is Orange County or San Diego would like to have a meet, I would love to help organize one. I've only been to one of your guys' meets and mine was the oldest car there. Thanks, and I'll try and find one of mine.

Here is mine......the euro and blue color was "shoped-in", it is silver.
The 108 are getting rare as Pope "S**t"

Sorry, no pic,
but just envision dark brown with tan interior, no hub caps, bent grill, scratched bumpers, paint bubbles and red rust inhibiting paint about the size of a quarter in a couple spots.
Also, replacement headliner of plain brown cloth, W123 steering wheel, hideous cloud of exhaust bilge on startup, regular blowby, the scent of leaking exhaust header, and the regular threat of overheating and you have a sense of the gas guzzling, bilge spewing beast that lurks out there in the gravel driveway.
Yesterday it was parked by a try next to the driveway facing the entrance of the street looking like it was poised to attack an un-welcome vehicle, spewing exhaust bilge like a squid, disorienting it's vehicular victim long enough to insert a syphon into the gas tank and suck the contents dry leaving a lifeless hulk like a fly entrapped in a spiders web.

We should organize a meet down here in San Diego. Would anybody be intersted? My car can't really go to LA. I'll most likely have an issue. Even though the car is fine to drive around down here, I know, she'll misbehave. I would be willing to drive up to South Orange County too. We had a meet in Mission Viejo last November that I brought my car to. Maybe we can do something like that again.

Thanks "joshhol"

you wouldn't believe how little I got it for, and it runs great. Even in heavy, hot So Cal, traffic driving, the engine temp won't go over 185F. The only bug I have with it is the fact that when I turn on either turn signal, both signals turn on and stay on, but when I turn on the hazard they both blink as they should. I still don't know what exactly the problem is, I'm guessing its the turn signal relay. ...What do u guys think? Sorry, for getting off topic.

so when is the meeting?

Here's mine

I need to stop and get a new glamour shot one of these days.

As far as meeting up, she should be able to make anywhere without issue. Only fly in the ointment is the "when" of the meet. I have a non-traditional work week, and until this past week was working swings. Now back on day shift and trying to adjust to getting up before the chickens. Will also be spending some time on the road between now and the end of September.

Y'all plan it and I'll try to make it.
