'71 250/8 ... Worth Picking Up?

I found a 250/8.. body straight, no rust seen... interior good, MB leather seats in good shape... dash in good shape... some chrome trim missing...
Owner says does not run due to electrical problems.. coil not installed, said got shorted out..
Is this car worth buying and fixing up for $100.00 ... Are electrical problems very expenssive to figure out and fix? Is it worth buying to part it out? Could get money to fix up my '72 280SE....

For $100? BUY IT! You can always sell it to someone else for $100 easily if it turns out to not be the coil, especially if the interior is good!
