Good price for '72 280SE

I hope this is the right place to ask this question... My mom has decided to sell my grandma's 1972 280SE and I've been charged with figuring out the right price for it. This site has been a great help to me in fixing up my 81 300TD, so I'm hoping it'll be of help here too :-)

The car has a little less than 140k miles on it, it's in great condition (engine runs well, interior unblemished, exterior unblemished), has working AC, automatic transmission, power windows, leather seats, and otherwise is in tip-top shape except for a broken antenna mast and perhaps the brakes need work.

I drove it quite a bit while my car was out of commission a few months back ($%^@&* ignition switch) and it drives wonderfully though I honestly cannot stand the super-huge steering wheel (or perhaps more accurately I should say I can hardly SIT under it - even with the seat in its lowest position, and I'm a not-too-big 5'11").

Any ideas on a suitable price? Many thanks!

6 or 8 cylinder? leather, sunroof, alloys, floor-mounted shifter?

What is the color combo?

this info might help guage its desirability-

Being that you are from Santa Barbara, and possibly the car is there as well, how much rust and/or salt water/ air corrosion is there on this car?

Engine size, interior condition, etc.....?

Got any pic's to post?

It's a 6 cylinder. Color is #670 "Light Ivory." No sunroof, shifter mounted on the steering column.

I went outside this morning and gave it a quick look now that it's light out, and I couldn't find any rust or corrosion anywhere on it (I don't know about the PO's, but my grandma has always had it garaged and rarely drove it - maybe once or twice a week to the store). I did notice a few little dings in the paint, particularly around the edges of the doors.

The interior is in great condition, the color is a very dark brown, looks nice in contrast with the light ivory outside. No holes or scrapes or cracks in the seats, and the dash is also flawless with the exception of one small ~1 inch crack near the center speaker (or is it a vent?). The wood is in good condition except around the upper edge of the dash by the windshield, where for some reason the resin or varnish on it has begun to crinkle up and look quite ugly (probably just needs sanding and refinishing; I may do that myself, and maybe patch up the dash crack too if you guys can recommend something good).

The front seats have sheepskins that are in pretty good condition, and I suspect those will go with the car (hmm, unless you guys think they'll fit on a w123's seats... :-).

It has those wheels with the little center-mounted hubcap that's painted the same light ivory color as the exterior. I don't know anything more about that ;-).

Here's the best I could do as far as pictures are concerned; it's kind of cramped in my garage and it's being used as extra storage space at the moment... one reason we want to get it outa there!
