Tomguy, how did you clean your injectors?
Did you just soak them in a container of carb cleaner? My friend who is getting the 4.5 went to NAPA to get some carb cleaner and the guy said that wouldn't work because the cleaner wouldn't get inside of them.
Thanks David

It worked perfectly fine. Yanked them out and put them in the cleaner oernight. I also ran 12v through them to open them up and blew them out with a little squirt after they soaked (to get any leftover gunk out).

The 12 volts obviously isn't constant. Do they have to have 12v constantly to stay open? So they would have to be getting 12v, and while that is happening spray them out quickly?
Thanks Tim |

The 12v makes them open. I used a transformer that put out 11vdc 450ma to do this (and a makeshift switch and clip), but if you just "Pulse" them it should be more than enough to clean them out - the rapid opening and closing of them will make carb cleaner squirt through them as it is. Mine were just "Super" dirty cause my car sat over 5 years.
