Question In search of correct pertronix module part #

I have read the many informative posts on cane vs pertronix. I think I am going to start out with the pertronix points eliminator and see if thee is need for a multi spark CD box after that.

So all I'm after at this point is the P/N for the pertronix module. I can't see any mercedes applications listed on their website.

I found the people at Pertronix to be very helpful when I called about a module for my sailboat engine.

Just so you know when you have a set of Pertronix in your car. Carry a set of standard points with the car. When the Pertronix fail your dead in the water. The engine will not run. My son's 65 Ford Mustang had Pertronix and they quit. So we put in the standard points to get him running. The points lasted 29 months. Pertroninx has a 30 month warrantee and replaced them. To this day we always carry a set of standard points.
I know of other people with Pertronix and they have had very few problems.

Dave

Let me add, I do like the Pertronix in the Mustang. Actually we just had to clean and re-gap the points this last weekend. The car was running rough. Never had that problem with Pertronix. We have not recieved the new module from Pertronix yet. Again I do like it. Just carry that spare set of points
