1975 W116/450 SEL with really bad seats

Hi--the seats in my '75 450 sel are really, really bad. springs-shot. pads-shot. upholstery-shot.

you can literally feel the seats degrade when squeezing them with your hands.

Do I try to rebuild them or replace from a junked car?

Any suggestions as to where to go? The seats are the loud (but beautiful!) blue.

If you're gonna be hittin junkyards - i understand that Atlanta Georgia is nearest mecca for old MB's...... otherwise you should probably know that seats from w123 cars will NOT fit.... but possibly seats from later model w126 will match the mounts on your 116, but i dunno for sure. And blue is common interior color.

If the covers are good, just get used seats with good springs and pads and re-use them.

New isn't cost effective.
