Window regulator issue
Hi guys, I tried to use the search, but came up empty looking for this one. I would imagine it is a common occurance.
On a really cold day last month, I slammed my driver's side door too hard (I'm working in a new door gasket) and the window slid down, (I found out after) due to an arm in the regulator popping off of the screw/bolt that is behind the manual window lever. I was able to fit it back on (the end is somewhat rectangular in shape and has a flat head screw slot on the other side, covered with a flat spring/coil) but when trying to put back up the window, it popped off again. Do you know if this is fixable, or do I need to replace the regulator entirely? I haven't attempted at removing the regulator to inspect it yet, but I imagine I must have either broken the bolt itself or a cotter pin on the other side or something. Any ideas out there?
