Grease or not to Grease?

Hello list.

should you grease you trigger points and the ignition arm?

Trigger points: The EFI points in the dizzy that you have to remove the dizzy to get to? I put a VERY light film of grease on one small spot on each (the lobes). Too much will throw it around and gunk up the points.

Ignition arm? You mean the ignition/breaker points in the top of the dizzy? Special grease comes with them, if you need to grease it then it's time for new ones because that grease is supposed to last a LONG time! If that isn't what you mean by ignition arm, let us know!
