I have a full set of front seat covers including the armrests and headrests for a 1969 280SE coupe from Buds. They are brown in color. They seem to be a good quality top-grain vat dyed leather somewhat softer than the original german roser leather. I'm not sure that Mercedes or anyone still sells the original roser leather? I'm not sure that the color matches the original that well either but they could probably be surface dyed to match. The pleats, perforations and workmanship do match the originals pretty close. If anyone is interested I would like to sell the set for $500 or make offer. They are new but I've had them for a couple of years in dry storage. They have not been previously installed. I can't remember exactly what I paid, but I'm sure they would cost many times this amount if bought new from Buds or anyone else. I decided that I would rather just redye the seats that I have and sell these. I could probably send a small sample of the leather and post some digital pictures if interested.
