w114 tranny starting to slip

Hello All
well here goes
I had a 1971 250 coupe that I could not sell
so I put the motor and tranny in my
1929 ford model A roadster(rat rod)
now the tranny is starting to slip
between gears. What can I do????
is there any super trick or special additive I can use???
I open to anything.
the motor runs great with new webers.
lots of power just need the tranny to work
car still runs and drives.

I will post some photos as soon as I get home
please help.

Thanks
DEAN

Sorry we disappointed, your car sure didn't. It was the talk of the veteran's list for a few days.

Transmissions are the single most complicated part of a car. There could be dozens of things wrong with them. They are not well suited to arm chair mechanics.

Also, a leaky valve body can cause a gazillion symptoms. Just about the entire table of options is "rebuild unit" or "fix valve body", with both being possible choices.

I for one am glad that your Ford is back on the road. Do please visit again with your next problem, presuming there is one. These things aren't indescructable.
