What color is the grill supposed to be?

I'm talking about the mesh grill, is it supposed to be chrome? Mine has discolored to a yellowish patina.

Norb, there is a product that will remove yellowing of chrome.... Something you can get at motorcycle shop - "blue-off" i think its called.... designed to restore discolored motorcycle pipes.
