Where to find 11" steel wipers?
I hate having the black ones on my car, but I've only seen originals for over $100! $50 per wiper is outrageous. Anyone know where to get some?

I myself am in the same boat as you, I am desperately searching high and low for them at the recyclers. As a substitute, I bought some Trico Classics. They are the right colour, but they mount with an adapter so they do not wipe that smoothly, but for me, I don't drive in the rain so it is a nice stopgap until I find some originals.
Hope this helps you out! Cheers!

I just went down to my local MB dealer. To my horror, they were cheaper than the crappy black plastic ones I'd bought previously. about £15 ($25)

Gee Whiz, I need to find a new dealer, mine wanted $150CDN (about $100 USD) for the pair. Glad you found some.
Cheers!

That was in the UK. I bought them the same time as a new wiper mechanism and that only cost about the price you're quoting for wiper blades!

boneyard. I also think i have seen some metallic replacements at AutoZone. of course the originals aren't 11" but more like 280mm or something like that anyway...
