AC fill plug stuck

Hi Guys

Got a little problem. Last night I was trying give the car a shot of R12 but I could not get the aftermarket brass cap off. Pliers with force did not help. I did not want to shear the aluminium valve off using brute force so I left it for a while and thought I would consult the list first. The car was running and the valve was cold, so my immediate suspicion was maybe brass contracts more than aluminium and so clamped itself down. Is this a possibility? Also any recommendations to get this cap safely off? Dremel?

I got this brass plug as it has an O ring seal in it and it and it was supposed to stop R12 leak from the schreader valve (which will happen over time). And it works. I used to have a 4 month refill interval vs 1 year now. Maybe I have to look for similar metal type.

Have a good weekend
Oreo
