Question Crow's foot wrench to adjust valves?

On the 6 cyl, M130 engine, the intake and exhaust valve adjusters are difficult to turn, due to lack of clearance for the 17mm wrench. Short of removing the manifols, would a 3/8" drive, 17mm crow's foot wrench turn the adjuster? Or is there a better tool?

Searched the archives, gonna use a SK flare nut crowfoot

I went to the SK tools site and purchased a SK crowfoot 17mm flare nut wrench ($18.00+ shipping)
I will grind the 'flares' off. The wrench is good for 525 inch/lbs (or 43 foot/lbs).

Those things can be a huge hassle. If they are really stuck you may have to remove the rocker and put a socket on the adjuster.

Chuck is right. For some reason my crowsfoot did not have a tight fit and slipped on 2 particularly tight ones. Had to remove the rocker and use a socket instead.

The MB tool is an offset crows-foot so that the torque wrench will be directly over the center of the adjuster. Note that you are supposed to use one -- if they are too tight, replace, if too loose, they won't stay put, replace....

You CAN use a standard crowsfoot, but you will need to grind it down to eliminate any chamfer on the bottom of the working part -- the factory tool has has a recess ground in it to fit over the adjuster both to hold it in place and to get the flat part of the opening onto the nut flats. If you don't grind the wrench down flat, the part the actually contacts the flats won't be square, with the results that you wipe the corners off and have to resort to using a socket after removing the rocker.
