He isnt living in the US so it shouldnt be too much of a problem with lawyers

Hello,
That's right, plus I have the perfect solution:Itching powder :p
It will give anyone that handles the star a nasty rash for a few days, just imagine if the idiot goes to the can after trying to break the star
I have acquired a can and will be liberally applying it to the star, grille, aerial and anything else I can think of
Have a good week.

Hi Nachi

The rains are coming soon aren't they? Your itching powder will have to re-applied very often .

Seriously....I would either just put a flat emblem or get an el cheapo alarm system installed with a trigger to the star. These usually have a trigger for when the hood is opened and that could possibly be modified for the star instead.

Wow, this reminded me of that flamethrower car alarm. Next thing you know, someone will rig up a system where pulling on the hood ornament causes a large sword to pop out of the grille and impale the would-be thief .

I really like the itching powder idea, however, I'd be much more evil and use POISON IVY oils on it :p

Guys

OK - I'm more subtle and lean aways from the Claymore and flamethrowers....but I hate drivers in heavy traffic that cut in front of you causing you to hit the brakes. I was fantasising up a system of 2 long thin "spears" that swing out from under the front of car, long enough to reach his rear tires. Activate and surreptitously creep up to his rear tires and pssst. Drive off with an innocent

Anyone with plans to rig this up?

i dunno about the electrified badge idea, it'd just mean more angry theives putting their boot into your panels and smashing headlights etc...

the alarm idea is good.. maybe a deafening screech coming from the grille to warn people off. or hot radiator water spirting out into the theives crotch...

claymore mine would be good though, jettison the grille and spray the theif with bits of metal and nails... albeit a little illegal

Hello,
Flame Thrower system originates in South Africa
I do not like flat emblems, I drove the car without the star for a few days and I got a severe headache trying to judge the distance to the car ahead
Claymore mine will get me into jail, so thats a no no
I may rig up an airhorn to the star AND use the itching powder as well
Have a good week.

The BMW-mounted undercar flamethrower has been on TV a couple of times and was from South Africa.

Happy Motoring, Mark
