Portugese Army Car?? I would be all over that thing like a cheap suit of clothes if one of them ever turned up in my neighborhood at that price.

Historical value of such a vehicle is priceless!! One of my neighbors who returned from the Mideast brought back a Saudi Arabian military BMW motorcycle in drab desert camouflage paint that's outstanding. The bike has a narrow slit for headlight cover, dual aluminum cannister saddle bags and a holster for an AK-47.

And what the hell was the Portuguese Army thinking when they purchased such vehicles..... possibly they were planning an invasion on British soil or preparing for an attack on the commonwealth colony of Gibraltar where they wanted to drive a fleet of 200D's from boats onto the docks to lead the assault?

I guess if the driver gets shot, then the passenger takes over - so such an assault weapon might be thought unstopable.

OOh geez, that would be my Mrs ideal dream car... then not only could she tell me how to drive, she could show me too!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!

That
is just truely unusual to see dual steering wheels like that. That thing would be cool to have, just for the sake of the rarity and oddity of it!

paint job

If my white '76 300D ever gets to the point of needing serious body and paint work- this is the way I'd want it!!! Just to make a statement about the military / industrial strength of these cars. Also would want to bend some old steel to make bumpers like that- they sure look better than the '76 U.S. bumpers!

That car and a fleet like it will be used by John Kerry's staff and cabinet members in case they need to change direction in the middle of a stream.
