The only problem now is while I was tightening the metal tube that goes
from the radiator to the transmission, I crimped the line a little. I decided to install a new one not knowing what I was getting myself into. All the auto supply stores said they don't sell this tube, only the dealer does. I went to one dealer and they kept giving me the wrong part. I went to another dealer and got the tube, it looked shorter than the one I had but I thought maybe I could make it work. The dealers told me this tube was the correct one and that maybe the original tube I had was a different one. They insisted the tube they gave me was the correct one, needless to say it wasn't. It's too short. I would appreciate any advice you can give me on finding this tube, I'm more comfortable buying in person rather than over the internet. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I will be trying other dealerships tommorow. I need this part quickly. Thanks for all the advice. |

Ok, Thanks everybody.
I finally found the trans tube at a junkyard--no thanks to the Chrysler dealerships. I installed the tube and drove the car around for about an hour today, the temp gauge stayed at 210. It looks like the problem is solved. Thanks again. |
