Drag link question
I purchased a drag link from Phil recently. I'm not pleased with the construction, it is not as beefy as the one that came off. It's a Meyle drag link, even though the invoice said I was getting a Lemfoerder. The Moog tie-rods I am satisfied with, they are similarly constructed to the old tie rods. After all these new parts, I don't like the idea of a weak link, if you will. Do you suppose it makes a difference and am I entiteled to the Lemfoerder drag link that I paid for?
Thanks Also, none of these new parts use castle nuts with a cotter pin.

I'm sure you're aware, but they're lock nuts so no need to mess with the pins or lining up the holes.
Thanks David

Ya, I just sorta liked those old castle nuts. More redundancy built into that component.
Phil was pissed that they switched the part. He said he spends time writing out the part numbers and brand name for a reason and that Meyle is cheap junk. I paid good money for a Lemfoerder and someone swapped it with a less expensive substitute.
