Question Door not opening...

My driver side rear passenger door does not open from the inside, only from the out. Any suggestions on what may be misaligned, broken? If so, would it be an easy repair? 72 280SEL 4.5
Thx all!

Had the same problem with my W108

The post (on the chassis) and the conical receiver (on the door) had gummed up. A dremel cleaned them to shiny condition.

The latch inside the car worked fine, but it took a strong shove to open the door from the inside. Also check alignment of these 2 parts, when closing the door

Child Locks? Little lever on latch mechanism.
Not sure if you have 'em.
Our 1969 Peugeot and my 1972 R12 wagon did as does LOML Stratus.
