Help! Water on the floorboards

It doesn't rain much here in New Mexico, but yesterday it did. To my suprise there was a large puddle of water on the floorboard passenger side in w115. After checking the door seals, is there anything else I should look for?

windshield (and back too) rubber tends to leak on these in the lower corners...

a little silicone should fix that...

you should also consider your cowl. Mine likes to leak when it rains, clean out the crud, make sure the drains are clear, or failing existing drains drill some your self!!!

puddles be gone!

I kept getting puddles every time it rained and it was'nt really the weatherstripping on the doors! I also got a lot in the trunk. I finally realized that the front windshield gasket and the back window gaskets needed to be sealed off with silicone.

Yeah.. I'm having the same problem and it's been a record year for rain in Los Angeles. I know I need to replace the door seals.

In regards to sealing the windsheilds with silicone do you just go around it on the inside and out all the way around?

i did mine on the outside especially around the corners on the bottom.. i think i touches up few other places that didn't look too good. tiny bead will do.. you can't even tell it's there... use clear one...

where have you been hiding? it's been a long time since i've seen the mask..

water

For what it's worth a windshield man (in his twenties) told me not to use silicone but recommended what he used "Adcoseal WB 300" windshield and body sealant. I used it and it worked. Milt.
