I was looking for an odd size bulb, that goes into euro light assembly as a foglight bulb. I also have additional foglights from 114/115 that requires the same bulb. I found these bulbs at www.candlepowerinc.com, but the price seems a little bit high - $14.00 each. Did anybody ever purchased these bulbs somewhere else. Philips part #12227, candlepower #49072.

If you can actually buy the thing, you'd better buy now, I cannot even find the da#n things over here. Even the Mercedes only parts shops that have been in business for 40+ years do not have these things anymore and from what they claim, are NLA.

This looks to be the same bulb that cross references to OSRAM 7309. I recently purchased some at a vintage bulb dealer named Interlight. Their number is 1-800-743-0005. http://www.interlight.biz

Actually, I got OEM German ones at my Mercedes dealer, right off the shelf, last summer. they can get the 6v ones, too.
