How much to sell it for? 1973 MB 280
I've decided to purchase a 1985 SD with 140K on it from my MB mechanic. He says it's a good car and I'll have it for a long time. I trust the guy.
However, I have a 1973 280 that I purchased about 6 months ago for $1500. It's an Arizona car...not a speck of rust with about 83,000 miles on it. The interior is in great shape except the headliner at the very back. I understand that this is in no way a collectible or worthy of restoration. But it starts daily and runs good. I don't really need to get too much for it. But what should I ask for it? I'll try to post some pictures. Also, what's the best way to sell it? Should I try eBay? Or just go with local ad in paper? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks, Tom |
