R-12?
Hello all, I am wandering if anybody knows a source for R-12... I've heard that converting from r12 to r134a or whatever is extreamly hard on the compresser, and being as it'd be very hard to get one, i really dont want to. R-12 is banned from sale in the state of WI, and MN... so I cant get it without alot of difficulty in person.
If anybody knows where i can get 3 cans of R-12, I'd really appreciate it (1 for the Mercedes, 2 for my uncles 82 Mustang) ~Nate |

Ebay should be able to sort you out.

If you do a Google search for "R-12", many refrigerant suppliers will show up.

You'll need to get an EPA-609 certificate before you can buy from just about anybody. You can do the "test" online at http://www.epatest.com/e_609cert.html. Costs about $20.
