Be sure to look for threads here before you tear into the HVAC system

I put dual 2.5 inch flowmaster exhaust system on my 450slc the other day. I replaced the primary muffler under the drive shaft with long twin glass packs. all of the joints that arent welded are connected with stainless strap muffler clamps. Pretty loud. but has a *****en racing whine. Just buy the box of parts kit for making your own system. Some welding and cutting required.
