what ever you want to pay. its either a nardi or fittipaldi. not bad if you like that sort of thing. i prefer genuine. originaly i think they were over a hundred bucks.

Get the dimensions, like circumference and depth to the attachment point. Then measure the original wheel and compare the difference. If that hotrod steering wheel is radically smaller than the original then you will be flailing your arms to steer the car in daily driving, parallel parking, etc.

Also does it leave a gap where the hub meets the collar on your steering shaft? For an expensive oddball item like that I'd ask for an unconditional satisfaction guarantee.

I would guess you are looking at $200+.

That wood wheel may bolt on to your shaft but may still not fit exactly right. The original Mercedes steering wheel has a fairly deep and wide padded hub that extends the wheel away from the steering shaft, which is designed to provide some degree of impact protection in an accident, instead of splinters!

Happy Motoring

The steering wheel looks like my Nardi. In excellent shape (no nicks or varnish cracks) should bring around $200. You can find them new for $300. Make sure you know what size it is and if the hub adapter is one that is the right size for your cars application as there are several made for MBZ. When I bought mine it was too long and I had to exchange it so I wouldn't have the steering wheel in my chest! From the picture the steering wheel looks rather small in circumference.

The next step after you get it is to check out parts from a Jaguar S1 XJ12 or S1 XJ6. I had both and I believe the Nardi was stock and had an adaptor column that telescoped in and out. Pretty trick. Might fit a Mercedes.
