the optimas I have in my truck would not work.....battery posts are reversed from what they need to be in the car.

you can't put the battery in the other way? my optima is the same on both sides.. hmm?

no the posts would have hit the cowl.....and the cable were too short to reach either way...mostly the ground cable...its real short on a W123.

Well, I tried to but an Otipma, but Sam's Club guys insted it would not fit in the battery tray -too high for the hood cleasrance. And that's in an 1984 330Sd T/Diesel. So?

I like Interstate's batterries. I have one battery in the motor pool that is stiill servicable, purchased in 1994.
