W114 temp sensor
Anyone have a good one for sale? It's the line that goes from the head all the way back to the gauge and includes the gauge (stupid design).

Is this part unique to the 114? We've got couple of 116's and 123's in junkyard nearby here.

I'm not sure but I think its a W114, maybe W115 part because the sensor, wire, and guage / face are all one unit.

I didn't overheat it, but I think it was in its past. A MB tech bought the car a year ago and hurt his back so it sat for a year until I bought it "needing a head gasket MAYBE a head, burns coolant but no mixing of oil / coolant". I bought it thinking he wouldn't have bought it a year ago to fix if he thought the block was cracked which it was. The coolant lines were all jerry-riged crap. Wasn't that big of a deal, I had a parts car with good engine from a friend for $300.

I be needibg one, also.
Mine won't go much above the peg anymore even though the coolant is up to temp. Michael
