Howdy,

I've seen several pairs for sale and had a quick question. Each lens features a diagonally sloping part to the lens that I guess illuminates a particular part of the ground. The question is, I've seen the downwars sloping part slant downward and left or downward and right. I've seen pairs identical with both sloping left and with them sloping in opposite directions (either inward or outward depending on which is left and which is right).

Which way are they supposed to be for best illumination in the USA without increasing glare too much. I vote for inward (the left lens sloping right and the right lens sloping left).

Thanks

Sholin

The lens cut-off slant depends on the car being RHD/LHD.
They are Euro lens and both right and left lens on the particular auto are the same.
LHD will slant to the right.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Let me ask for a clarification so I understand exacltly what I need: When you say "slant to the right", you mean looking from the front of the car. In otherwords the cutoff slant prevents glare in that direction. It doesn't direct light in that direction (increasing glare).

Thanks....

Sholin

I am refering to the cut off slanting to the right
on the beam pattern on a wall.
The light adjustment chart will show a distinct
15 degree cut off angle in the beam pattern slanting to the right from the center of each low beam pattern.
That will be for a LHD vehicle.
I have the beam adjustment measurement for these and will be glad to jpg it to you . That will explain it better than I can, if you like.
