Window washing system on 1977 300D

Greetings to all,

I have a 1977 300D with a window washing problem. I have changed everything in the window washing system, except the hoses. When I push on the button to spray the window and engage the wipers, the water barely trickles. On a visual inspection the hoses appear clear and free of kinks, the washer nozzles are brand new, I am just stumped.

I noticed that this is also a problem on my 1988 300SEL and 1998 E320. On those the driver's side nozzle works half way, while the other barely sprays. Does anybody have any ideas?

I would recommend you remove and clean the reservoir, disconnect the hose at the nozzle, blow out the nozzles with air, pump the fluid until it looks clean, then re-attach the nozzles.
