I have a donor car and am thinking of pulling the transmission and putting it in my 76 450 sel. My question is should I pull the u joint from the donor car as well, thinking that it may help to balance the set up or doesn't it make any difference. Would appreciate your thoughts or directions to an appropriate thread. Milt.

Both cars are the same. My driveshaft is good so I guess I will go ahead and switch the tramsmission only. Thanks for you input Col. Klink. Milt.
