Hi,
If it`s they`re so hopeless,try these:
http://www.sls-hh-catalogue.de/bin/dbframes.phtml?mid=IN09
www.dbdepot.de
www.niemoeller.de
The listed parts are not all they`ve got ,give`em a call..
and they have other useful parts
and the Danish caliper refurbisher Budweg
http://www.budweg.com/budwegweb/catalogue/caliperQuerylist.asp?psearch=mercedes+benz&Submit=GO&psearchtype=AND
of course, you could buy new from your ATE or FTE dealer:

http://ate.tecdoc.net/ate/en/7673A7BD5EF09B93ABCC71C9431018212.srv?dlg=CtrDefault&action=SetJavaDisabled

http://katalog.fte.de/default.php

Good luck!Nice car
P.s.I forgot:
http://epos.europart.net/epos/
1.click on Als Gast
2.In Benutzerkennung field ,type g5084
3.Kennwort 010
4.Then klick Productsuche, just by the nut...
5.then PKW/kleintranspoterand bis 3,5t...and you`ll find the manufacturers menu.
This catalog exists only in German, however the company has offices in various european countries, among them Norway. It`s worth trying their prices, they offer ATE,FTE and BUdwegs also...

Best deal on rebuilt calipers is www.********.com. At these prices, not much point in messing with them yourself.

channelocks and shields and welded bolts

Sorry, been away fer a few days...

The shields (water & dirt) I mentioned were sometimes found simply closing over the outer ends of the hole containing your pucks and their pins - popped in and out, held in only by their own spring pressure of a couple of tabs, between the pins and against the sides of the hole. Often missing in earlier models - discontinued, at some point in the 114's and 115's, I believe.

Channelocks opened wide, one jaw against the outside end of either piston's housing, the other against the inside of each puck's metal backing, between the guide pins, radially as far in as can get (up to edge of braking material on the backing).

Welded? Two bolt heads on the back of the calipre? - and they are either self-locking (encapsulated/blue locking agent) or have split-ring lockwashers, at significant torque (113Nm installation spec). On occasion, I have had to use a 1/2" drive breaker bar and a floor jack acting up against the car's weight (R from behind; L from below/in front) to break them free.

Hope it all works out for you, soon - time for that beauty to get some fresh air!

Stan

Uppdate

Does not look like my beauty will see much sun this year, have found out it is in need of a bigger restoration than previously expected
So have rented a place where I can keep it and do some work on it. Will start to weld all the rust in the floor, and will buy new brakes for it.
Will most certainly be back with more questions when starting.
This place is just the best for information about my precious

Precius will be back next summer, with all new floor, paint and brakes.
It is just too good to scrap,
