The puimp for MFI is 13-17 PSI, but the volume is what you need to consider.
Stock vol. is 3.4 ltr per min after the filter. SLS has rebuild kit for your pump. It will be he same as 250sl.. http://www.sls-hh-catalogue.de/bin/dbframes.phtml?mid=IN02 |

I have found that an electric pump from a Volkswagen Vanagon ( FI gasoline) works admirably on these cars as a replacement for the hard to find OE pumps. A little plumbing with rubber hose and fabricating a hanger/ bracket, and you're good to go!
Install a filter in the feed line to the pump. Then, you can retrofit the OE stuff any time! This saved my behind on my 6.3, and I have customers with 250 and 280SEs running this, as well as a customer with a 220SE coupe, 1960. All of these stopgap repairs are several years old, and have been run in some cases daily with no ill effects. I put 70K on my 6.3 this way.
