the minivan i use in my business is dying and i need to replace it. i have too many cars, 2 of which are benzes. i have a rust-free new mexico 450sel to sell. this is an 083,000 mile car that is driven daily, has cold air, new tires, chrome mercedes 15" wheels, combo leather and tex, blue car, tan interior. becker am/fm cassette, cruise and basically a straight solid car. it has some sun damage to clear coat on cowl and tops of doors but is otherwise shiny and clean. i'm thinking this is a $5,000 car. if this is out of line, please give me some feedback. i'm interested in cash, trade or both.

Prices for particular Benz's seem to vary widely - largely random, I suspect.
You can get a pretty good idea of the price window by watching the same or similar models on eBay or here or on other trading posts - reality will out - not what a car may be "worth", but what most buyers are willing to pay for yours. In other words, don't rush if you can take the time to do your homework.
Your ask is not totally out of line with what I've seen in last year or so, but on the higher end - which may well be justified by low mileage and condition, but your trick will be to have it on the market when that knowledgeable buyer is looking to buy...not the week before when he wasn't looking or the week after he already bought another one...
