Tire Pressure decal

Bob,

Checked my W111's - both earlier and 250SE/c's - neither worth copying, and might be different, anyway.

If someone can get you the part number in the lower right corner (yes, even the decals had a part number) - perhaps you can seek out a genuine one -
obviously anyone who wants to replicate such a detail might want the real thing...

Stan

I spent a while trying to see if I could locate the sticker for you in my EPC. Unfortunately they don't have all the little stickers listed for the old ones. I found a reference to the air pressure instructions, but don't know if it is the part number for the gas flap sticker or not. I will attempt to attach a screen shot, which my help (but might as likely not).

I apologize for the poor quality of the shot. Size limits really took their toll and unfortunately my current ISP does not have web hosting space or I could just upload and link to the picture. Sorry.

Wink Tire preasure decal for W111.

I think the later model W111s from 1970 to 1971 the last year are demanding huge prices. I run accross these cars and the decals are always missing. If I can fine a licence plate door for that hides the fuel filler with decal in good shape I would be very happy to give that person some of the new decals or pay for using his door.

Prefer 1970 build date can be 1969 and last year of production 1971 280SE. 3.5

Same decals?

Mike, info Bob

Do I read that correctly (sorry, I'm a microfiche/paper book Luddite) that the 111.021 and 108.016 stickers on my 250SE/(c) and SE should be the same as the 280SE 3.5 he's trying to do?

My 65 250SE/c's is red with white lettering, and in German. The 66 is Anglish.
And somewhere around I've got the gas door from the 108.

That is hard for me to say. It appears the 108.016 and 111.021 take the same sticker depending on language. I tried looking in the 1970 models but couldn't locate the air pressure sticker and basically spent about an hour or so going back through each model year until I located one. I'd guess the 3.5 probably uses the same sticker as the 4.5, but unfortunately I won't be around my 4.5 for probably another month.

I think my 3.5 coupe, build date of 8/70 still has the sticker, but pretty worn. Funny thing is that I can't remember if my low grill cab, build date 2/70 has it or not.

Both cars are parked offsite, I should be able to peek at my 3.5 coupe this weekend and I'll take a pic.
