Question are body parts interchangable?

i own a 77 230 and posted on another site that i'm looking for quarter panels.i got a reply back saying that it was a 123 body style and parts were easy to come by. i have had a hard time finding other 230s' so i was wondering if the panels from another sedan would fit?

Yes.

Any panel from a 123 chassis will fit. The only ones that might be hard to find are rears if you have a long wheelbase version.

so this would mean that any 77-85 300D or 240D will work for you.
