450sel 6.9 electric window wiring

Does anyone know how the front right electric windows are wired? When replacing the switch I accidentally pulled the wires out of the housing that plugs into the electric window switch (not my fault the covers were missing).

Many thanks.

Al, why did you replace the switch? Was it not working, or was the window slow?

Switch failed

Fred

The switch failed on my 6.9 when winding the window down on a very rainy day. I replace it with a used one that I pulled from the junk yard.

If you have slow windows, it's probably the regulator that's bent. A replacement is around $100 new. I have already bought one for my 6.9 drivers window but have yet to replace it. I replaced the regulator on my w108 last year and the window now quickly moves up and down.

I had 3 of the regulators replaced and the speed did not increase. I am thinking I am getting a bad connection through the switches, limiting current to the motors.

allignment

Fred , there is a known alignment problem with W116 regulators that could also cause the regulators to move slowly.

If it's switches, try switching them out with the 6.3, if it's a post 71, then they should be the same.

All the best
