i have done this conversion of transplant engine from 123 to 114.biggest problem was chassis rail on drivers side had to be modified to clear the huge intake.so you will need access to cut and weld.the job turned out very well and the huge increase in power almost needed to replace diff ratio.the engine used was left stock and the owner in west texas was very pleased.if you need more info please feel free to call.

no i didn't heat the spring, don't have that kind of equipment.

Well as i straight away cut 2 coils, i would just say that 1 coil shorter is halfway between stock and my height
